Mr A. Armitage. of New Plymouth, is visiting Hamilton. Mr L. S. Gibson, Wellington, is spending a few days in Hamilton. Mr G. C. Gillions, Dunedin, is at the Hamilton Hotel. Messrs E. O. Naylor, Dunedin, and A. V. Hunt, Central Otago, are at the Commercial Hotel. Mr R. P. Smith left Hamilton last night for Wellington to attend a meeting of the National Council of the Federation of Labour. Mr T. D. Scott, M.A., first assistant, has been appointed principal of the ; Dannevirke High School in succession to Mr E. N. Hogben, states a I Press Association message.
