REALLOCATION OF DUTIES MR O’BRIEN’S PORTFOLIOS (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The reallocation of Ministerial portfolios consequent on the death of the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, was announced by the Prime Minister, the Right Hon. P. Fraser, tonight. The Hon. J. O’Brien, whose selection for Ministerial office to fill the vacancy resulting from Mr Armstrong’s death was recently announced, has been appointed Minister of Transport, Minister of Marine, Minister in charge of Inspection of Machinery and Minister in charge of the Government Printing and Stationery Office. The Minister of Railways, the Hon. R. Semple, relinquishes the portfolios of Transport and Marine and takes over those of Public Works and Housing. Mr Semple retains the portfolios of Railways and Rehabilitation.
