JOIN THE SPRING OFFENSIVE In today’s issue appears an advertisement calling upon the people of Hamilton to invest in 3 per cent national savings. “Get your National Savings Pass Book out of cold storage” states the message which points out that only an active account is on active service. This announcement, which is part of a Dominion-wide appeal, has been sponsored as part of their war efloit by Hamilton’s wellknown hardware firm—the Hamilton Hardware Company, Limited. It is with confidence that members of the Hamilton National Savings Committee look to the residents of this town to play their part as National Savers. Hamilton’s National Savers now total 6168 and new accounts opened during the last three weeks are as I follows: Last week in August .. 47 First week in Sept. .. 17 Second week in Sept. .. 29
