; MR MICHAEL McMULLIN i The death has occurred of Mr l | Michael McMullin, of Hamilton, and formerly of Roxburgh, Otago. Born . jat Mobilie, County Donegal, Ireland, ’’ ‘ in 1860, Mr McMullin left there at the i age of 20 and sailed from Glasgow i with his brother Alexander for New ’’ Zealand in the ship Dunedin, landing e at Port Chalmers. Mr McMullin lived ", for over 40 years in Otago, princip- - ally at Roxburgh, where he was prominent in local affairs. He came to Hamilton in 1922 and had resided here ever since, still retaining a keen interest in local and Dominion politics. He was a bowler for 35 years 'and actively identified himself with is! the Claudelands Club, of which he it was one of the founders, and was ( i later made a life member. His wife y died 11 months ago and he is sur>s, vived by a son and a daughter, Mr ‘ Henry J. McMullin and Miss Mary McMullin, both of Hamilton.
