Hamilton, June 16, 1942. 529 T'HE CENTRAL WAIKATO ELEC- 1 TRIC-POWER BOARD SPECIAL ORDER Public Notice is hereby given that at a meeting of The Central Waikato Electric-Power Board to be held at the Board’s Offices, Anglesea Street, ; * Hamilton, on Wednesday, 15th day j r of July, 1942, there will be consider--1 ed for confirmation a resolution " passed by way of Special Order at a p meeting of the Board held on Wednesday, 17th *day of June, 1942, authorising the raising of a loan of £25,C00 for a term of twenty (20) years for the purposes of further reticulation within the Central Waikato Electric-Power District; rate of interest being such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate exceeding 33 per cent; security for the payment of interest and the repayment of principal to be a rate of one twenty-filth of a penny (1.25 d) in the £ on the rateable value of all property in the Central Waikato Electric-Power District; the loan or any part thereof together with interest thereon to be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over the term of the loan, such instalments to be paid 1 in New Zealand and no instalment to be paid from loan money. A copy of the resolution is lodged for inspection at the office of the following constituent districts: Counties of Waipa, Waikato and Raglan, and the Boroughs of Huntly, Ngaruawahia - and Hamilton. No money shall be borrowed pursuant to the above resolution if, before the date fixed for the confirmation of the resolution, not less than five per centum of the total ratepayers. whose names are inserted on the Ratepayers’ Roll of the several constituent districts within the said electric-power district, by writing under their hands, delivered or sent by post to the Office of the Board aforesaid, demand that a poll be taken on the proposal.
