FEAR OF INVASION
ATTITUDE OF ITALIANS (United Pr9ss Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received June 18, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 17 More than 200,000 soldiers are at present in Italy. One hundred and fifty thousand were in the Naples area a fortnight ago, either awaiting embarkation to Libya or in readiness for local action. The British United Press correspondent on the Italian frontier, in reporting this, says Germans and Fascists fear an Allied invasion of Italy. They also fear that the majority of Italians will not resist.
