Their contributions to lhe war effort to dale comprise £iuuu to the patriotic fund, £IOOO interest-free loan to the Government for war purposes, 1:2000 investment in a national savings account with a free girt of stock. The Aotea Maori land district extends from tlie mouth or the Rangittkei River in the south to WhitecltlTs in the north, and Inland to a line running through the centre or Lake Taupu.
