NEW ZEALAND SENDS £SOOO (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday In a message to the Consul-Gen-eral Tor Greece, Mr T. E. Y. Seddon, on the occasion of the Greek National Day, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, said: “As practical testimony of the sympathy with which the New Zealand Government and people regard the present suffering of the Greeks, I wish to announoe that £SOOO is being donated for the relief of distress in ""I Greece, and the Greek Government is being informed that this sum will be handed to the Greek Government by the New Zealand High Commissioner in London.”
