FINAL CARNIVAL
Y.M.C.A. CHAMPIONSHIPS SWIMMING AND LIFE-SAVING The annual championship carnival of the Y.M.C.A. Swimming Club was held «t the Hamilton Municipal Baths last night. In all probabillir this will be the last carnival of the 1941 -42 swimming season as the season closes this month. In addition to a varied programme or swimming and diving events a lire-savlng competition was contested, the winners in tbe girls’ section being Miss P. Grade and Miss V. Tasker and In the boys’ event F. Bergerson and J. Nicholson. The proceeds of the carnival were donated to the Public Service “Popular Girl,” Miss Monnie Menzies. An interhouse relay was held between two Public Service team# and this resulted In a win for Public Service A. The programme was divided Into championship and handicap events.
