TODAY’S SUPPLEMENTARY FAIR Supplementing the recent ram fairs held at tn" ClaudHands showgrounds, a fair was conducted by the New Zealand Loan Him Mercantile Ngeiicy Company Limited, Dalget.v and Company Limited, and the Farmers’ co-operative Audio ’ring Company. Limited, today. \ medium bench of buyers was attracted and prices realised were slightly lower than at recent sales. Bc-t quality rams, however, met brisk Ridding. \ consignment of southdown rams from the Wairarapa breeder. Mr It. Morrison, opened the sale and values from 3 p. c.i guineas were realised lor oneshear southdown rams bred by Mr \. Bethcll. of i-Tanklmi, made -Ugns a head, while a line <.r is from Mr J. 1.. Heckler, of Mauriceville. sold from 2gns to signs. The Signs rams were two-shear rams, uhile tiie remainder were single shear. Uu account ol the Piri Land Company, urini. 1 2 one-shears realised from ij to 4 1 guineas. There was little inquiry ror English or Border Leicesters and a fair Inquiry was created fur Kyeland rains.
