SHELTERS IN WELLINGTON (Bv Telegrrapli.—Press Association) WELLINGTON. Monday Preliminary work for the construction of the first tunnel shelter in Wellington was started in the Hobson .street gully todaV By 2.15 pm. 25 men had reported to the plovment on airraid shelter activities. There was insufficient labour availab'e to make a start on the ether two tunnel works projected immediately for Mount Cook, near the carillon, and the old Hospital Hoad in the Newtown area The City Council cun easily absorb all the labour ottering.
