Mrs H. T. Gillies, Hamilton, has returned from a holiday at the Mount, Tauranga. Mrs Max Naim, Hamilton, is spending the week-end in Auckland. Mrs E. G. D'Arcy Smith and Miss Sheila D’Arcy Smith, Hamilton, return on Tuesday from a holiday at the Mount, Tauranga. Mrs Brian Hilton, Hamilton, is spending a week at Taupo. Mrs S. Tombs, who has been the guest of Mrs Maurice Tombs, Hamilton, has returned to Auckland. Mrs H. H. Burnside, Ardmore, is visiting Hamilton as the guest of Mrs W. K. M. O’Hara. Mrs T. Lyons, Hamilton, is spending the week-end in Auckland. Mrs F. H. Taylor, Hamilton, has returned from a holiday spent at Mount Maunganui. Miss Mona Blair, who is a member of the W.A.A.F. stationed at Ohakea, is visiting Mrs Wilton Henley, Hamilton, this week-end. Miss Lyn Gurr will leave Hamilton during the week-end for Auckland where she will in future reside. Miss Phyllis Wilkins, Hamilton, will spend her holiday touring the South Island. The district committee of the Women’s War Service Auxiliary held its meeting yesterday morning, Mrs J. W. Chapman, chairman, presiding.

TIRAU

Mrs J. Hetherington, Tirau, is visiting Tauranga. Miss M. Dagg has returned to Tirau.

Mrs I. Marshall-Inman was a recent visitor to Auckland. Mrs A. E. Deadman has returned from visiting Mt. Maunganui. Miss E. Hall returned to Tirau this week after spending a holiday at Thames. Mrs G. S. Wilson and Miss Sonia Wilson have been on holiday at Okete.

Mrs Trevour Bear was a recent visitor to the Mount, Tauranga. Mrs Murphy, Putaruru, is spending a vacation in Auckland.

OKOROIRE

Miss Olga Wilson, Auckland, is spending a holiday at Okoroire, where she is the guest of her sister, Mrs C. N. Boucher.

Miss Valerie Higginson has returned to Auckland from a six weeks’ vacation at her home. Mrs Douglas Aldridge, Waiterimu, Ohinewai, is the guest of Mrs E. Hardwick, Okoroire.

Miss Dorothy Graham has returned to Okoroire after a holiday at Mission Bay, Auckland.

Mrs D. O’Sullivan is spending a three weeks’ holiday at Mt. Maunganui.
