AIR ACCIDENT
TRAINEE KILLED TWO OTHERS INJURED CRASH DURING EXERCISES (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday Three members of the Royal New Zealand Air Force were injured in an aircraft accident this morning and were admitted to the Kaitaia Public Hospital, and it was later announced that one of them had died. They were:— Aircraftman David Joseph Sutton, died in hospital. Mrs L. Rule, care New Lynn Post Office. Sergeant John Mortimore Worden, severely injured. ' Mrs J. M. Worden, Ponsonby (wife). Aircraftman Kenneth Ivan Curtis, slightly injured. Mrs M. B. Curtis, Napier (wife). The aircraft was engaged in training exercises when it crashed.
