WEARIED BY STRAIN

MR HULL’S INDISPOSITION (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. 13, 11.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 12 Wearied by the terrific strain of diplomatic events and suffering from a prolonged attack of influenza the Secretary of State for War, Mr Cordell Hull, is planning an extended vacation in Florida. Friends say he may be away two months, and others that he will not return to the War Department, but for the present Mr Hull is not giving serious thought to resigning. Mr Hull is said to be sadly depressed by the state of world affairs and distressed over Vichy’s pusillanimous conduct.
