RIOTS IN DENMARK SINGING OF “ TIPPERARY ” (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrig-nu LONDON, Nov. 26 Riots lasted all day in Copenhagen owing to Denmark’s signing of the anti-Comintern Pact. They began when crowds gathered at the palace and cheered the King, who is said to be opposed to the signing and to have threatened to abdicate. German troops cleared the square in front of the palace, while rioting occurred in various parts of the city, particularly in front of the Foreign Office, where the crowd shouted ‘"Down with the traitor Scavenius,,” also outside the German Army headquarters, where they sang “Tipperary.” The demonstrations continued far into the night.
