PRISONERS OF WAR
PRIVATE D. J. PATERSON RUGBY REPRESENTATIVE Advice has been received by Mr and Mrs R. R. Paterson, of Hamilton, that their second son, Private Douglas J. Paterson, who was posted missing after the Cretan campaign, has now been officially listed as a prisoner of war. Private Paterson, who left New Zealand with the first echelon, was well known in Rugby circles in Hamilton, being a Waikato representative player. He was also a prominent member of the Hamilton Rowing Club. He was educated at the Hamilton High School. SERGEANT S. HADLEY (By Telegraph.—press Association) AUCKLAND, Saturday A card has been received from a former All Black, Sergeant S. Hadley, by his wife saying that he is a prisoner in a German camp. Sergeant Hadley was formerly reported missing in Greece.
