MISSING AIRMAN
FRANKTON FOOTBALL PLAYER Pilot-Officer Ivan Collett, of Gisborne, who was officially reported yesterday as missing on air operations, was employed in Hamilton as a representative of the Atlantic Oil Company when war was declared, and he left from here to join the Royal New Zealand Air Force. He completed his training in Canada under the Empire Air Training Scheme. While in Hamilton PilotOfficer Collett was a member of the Frankton Rugby Football Club’s senior team. „
