W.A.C. ACTIVITIES
CLERICAL AND TRANSPORT There was an exceptionally large muster of members at the Hamilton Women's Auxiliary Corps weekly parade on Monday, the company being practically at full strength. Further preparations for the field day were put in train and all members, with the exception of those on can- ) teen duties during the week-end, will proceed to Hopu Hopu on Saturday for the battalion demonstration which was postponed last week. It is hoped that a number of Boy Scouts will travel to the camp with the company to act as patients for the field ambulance and first aid squads. The girls will take their own equipment. Last week-end several members of the Auxiliary under the capable management of Mrs D. Boyt, Company Adjutant, prepared and served the meals at Ruakura for the National Reserve, who have express;ed keen appreciation of the work done. j The company was well represent|ed at the E.P.S. trials on Monday j when the Transport and Cycling j Corps were kept busy in their difi ferent sections. Other members . assisted the Law and Order section | in clerical duties, and canteen duties ; were another branch of service in which the girls took part.
