NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP (By Telegraph.—Press Association) W AIM ATE, Saturday In fine, calm weather 39 riders started the journey to Christchurch for the New Zealand 135 miles road cycling championship. Scratchings: J. H. Armstrong (Christchurch), on the 40 minute mark; C. A. Moran (Kaikoura), 30 minutes; and J. 'J. Croft (Riccarton), 20 minutes. The race is expected tu finish at 3 p.m.
