OBITUARY
MR JAMES T. SEAVILL The death has occurred, after a \ long illness, of Mr James Trevor j Seavill, of Waingaro, a member of j one of the best-known families in j the Waikato and a prominent sports- j man. Mr Seavill was born in Auck- | land 36 years ago and was educated j at Wanganui College. He returned j to Waingaro and engaged in farm- j ing. devoting his leisure time to j hunting, golf, tennis, and particularly polo, at which sport he was a member of the redoubtable Waimai “A” team for several years. He hunted with both the Pakuranga and Waikato hounds. He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Shirley Garland, of Clevedon, and a daughter. MR L. BRINNITZER The death has occurred -in Hamilton of Mr Leopold Brinnitzer, aged 73 years. Mr Brinnitzer came to New Zealand two and a-half years ago and had resided in Hamilton since. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Miss Erta Brinnitzer and Mrs Ruth Unga. There are two grandchildren. MR T. J. W. BUXTON AUCKLAND, Friday The death has occurred of Mr Thomas John Westland Buxton, aged 72, a prominent Auckland sportsman. An ardent bowler and trotting supporter, he was known all over the province, and did much for the sport while president of the Auckland Trotting Club from 1934 to 1937, and as a member of the New Zealand Trotting Association. Amorig many charitable acts Mt* Buxton gave a valuable property at Oratia for the youth work of the Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife and by two sons and a daughter of his first marriage. One son is the Rev Dr. L. T. Buxton, Auckland.
