Peter Pan’s Letter Dear Girls & Boys,— Dear Girls & Boys,— Oh dear, Peter does wish j the Weather Man would start smiling- again, as all these visits from ?<lr Rain makes the weed people grow so very quickly. Jennifer Joan and Anthony Alan have been planning a new summer garden, “ But what’s the use of summer gardens if the rain is going to fall all the time." asked Jenne, looking miserably out of the window on to a rain-drenehcd world. Still the gardens are lovely, for there are deep blood-red tulip people dancing beside a bed of golden lachenalia and the drops of moisture twinkle like diamonds on the shining petals. White petals delicately tipped with pink are bursting into bloom on the apple and quince trees and the rain-washed air is fragrant with the scent of stocks. An azalea tree stands in the middle of the green lawn covered with deep fuchsiashaded blossoms, and it makes such a lovely splash of colour despite the gay clouds. And now lots of love, little people, with gay smiles from the Weather Man. From yours, Patiently-a waiting-summer-days,
