“STUBBS AT FIFTY”

PRODUCTION IN HAMILTON Rehearsals for “Stubbs at Fifty,” a romantic comedy which Rosalie Seddon, of Hamilton, has adapted from Guy Pocock’s book, are proceeding very smoothly, and the production at the Theatre Royal on Monday and Tuesday, October 20 and 21, should be a great success. The comedy deals with the entertaining experiences, romantic and otherwise, of an ex-schoolmaster who has reached the “dangerous age.” A strong cast, as published last week, is engaged. . Modern dances have been arranged by Miss Leonie Swarbrick, and Mr A. Cook has provided some realistic properties. The orchestra will be under the baton of Mr W. Whitehead.
