PATRIOTIC MEETING
RACES AT TE AWAMUTU The last races at the Te Awamutu Light Horse Association’s patriotic race meeting < non-totalisator , at the Walpa club’s course on Saturday showed a double success for Beau Rock, the Light Horse Cup and Amateur Handicap going down to his credit. Hunting Princess won the Patriotic Handicap. Results were: l ight Horse Cup.—Beau Rock 1, Ferseu 2, Ferrara 3. Patriotic Handicap.—Hunting Princess 1, Tul Nul 2. Master Rex 3. Hunters’ steeplechase.—Strathearn 1. Goldora 2, Dictum 3. Amateur Handicap.—Beau Rock 1, Desert Gold 2, Ferrara 3.
