PRIZES PRESENTED
HAMILTON YACHT CLUB To mark a successful season, the Hamilton Yacht Club held a prizegiving dance, the commodore, Mr C. Morris, welcoming a large number of members and friends, the latter including a number of officials from the Rotorua Yacht Club. The president, Mr A. A. Woodward, congratulated the members on the splendid progress made by the club. A shield for annual competition on the Rotorua Lake was handed to the Rotorua club officials by Mr Woodwaryi from the Hamilton club. The prizes presented during the evening were:—Morris Cup, Mr N. Wing’s Wai-iti; Commodore’s Cup, Mr J. Dawson's Flying Cloud; Logan Cup, Mr J. Dawson’s Flying Cloud; Harris Trophy, Mr N. Wing’s Wai-, iti: Wilmhurst Cup, Mr F. J. Louden; j For’d Hands Cup, Mr W. Nash; Okara Cup, Mrs W. Nash; Open Championship, Mr N. Wing’s Waiiti; Silver Fern Championship, Mr T. Neill’s Valarie. Handicap prizes were won by the following:—Wai-iti, Ngarie, Ida, Tamara, Edola, Valarie, Roselie, Clipper, Dorothy, Flying Cloud, Endeavour, Lilina, Percues.
