Tudor Rose, alter being an early leader, weakened into second, and Beau Vaals was only a length away Tor third money. The early lead was taken by Gentry anil Tudor Rose, and they still held sway at the distance. Menu Y,nl> came through rast on the Inside at this stage and Bonny Pay moved up on t ie outside. Over the la-t 50yds Bonny Pay gave nothing else a chance. Tudor Rose was two lengths away second, and Frau VaaH one length further hack. Gentry was fourth, followed bv Rallvmacad. The favourite, Kraal, anu the well-supported Queen City, were never prominent, the latter meptlng with Interference at a vital stage.
