ARMY CASUALTIES
EIGHT DEATHS LISTED PRISONERS AND MISSING (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON. Thursday The following list of casualties to members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force is announced tonight:— A unit court of inquiry presumes the following soldier killed in action, previously reported missing:— STUCKEY, Norman Clarence—Mr R. J. Stuckey, Gore. The International Red Cross, Geneva, reports that the following soldiers have died, previously reported prisoners of HARRIS, William—Miss R. Harris, Wellington (sister). LOVELOCK, Percy Gordon—Mr W. J. Lovelock, Gisborne (father). The Red Cross reports that the following soldier has died, previously reported missing : NORTON, Arthur Noel—Mrs W. M. Norton, Wellington (wife). The Red Cross reports that the following soldiers have died as prisoners of war, previously reported prisoners of war and wounded:— BROAD, Terry—Mr W. T. Broad, Christchurch (father). CONROY, Thomas—Mr W. J. Conroy. Oamaru (father). JENNINGS, Allan Charles—Mrs A. Jennings, Christchurch (wife). The following soldier died as a result of an accident:— COCKBURN, Cuthbert Stuart—Mrs G. L. Cockburn, Hornby (mother).
