REQUEST FOR COMPENSATION (By Telegrapn. — Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday A claim for some relief for petrol resellers was contained in notice of a question asked by Mr W. P. Endean (Opposition—Remuera). of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, in the House of Representatives today. Mr Endean asked whether in view of the fact that the Government had increased the wholesale price of petrol by a penny a gallon to cover increased costs to importing oil companies, etc., the Government would grant a similar claim to resellers in regard to their services in the assistance which was being given for essential war purposes.
