PLANE WRECKED

TEN OCCUPANTS KILLED PILOT FROM AUSTRALIA (United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright) • LONDON, Sept. 2 The Royal Air Force Ferry Command transport aeroplane, which was reported missing on a flight from America, was later found wrecked in isolated mountains in a district on the west coast. All the ten occupants were dead.

One of the pilots was Captain Kenneth Garden, aged 25, whose parents reside at Coogee. They recently received a letter from him saying that he had crossed the Atlantic more times than any other pilot. Captain Garden was trained in Sydney and was regarded as one of the finest pilots who ever transferred to Imperial Airways.
