OFFERS FROM AMERICA
AUSTRALIAN FILM ACTRESS PERSONAL APPEARANCE TOUR
Betty Bryant has been offered a three-months’ personal appearance tour throughout the United States with the Australian film, “Forty Thousand Horsemen.” She and her husband, Mr Maurice Silverstein, film magnate, will not decide on the offer until they reach America.
Miss Bryant revealed that the cable also mentioned a film offer. “Maurice cabled back to say that I was being married and would be in America shortly,” she said. “I am delighted with the offer; but Maurice has pointed out the inadvisability of taking on too widespread a tour. “He said it would mean he would have to be trekking after me all over the States. “If I accept, I shall make appearances only in the bigger cities. “Neither of us attach much importance to the film offer.
“It doesn’t really mean much until a contract is made.”
