DEANNA DURBIN’S NEW FILM Deanna Durbin, now Mrs Vaughan Paul in private life, returned to Universal City to prepare for her next starring picture. “Almost an Angel.” Immediately after her return, the Universal star rehearsed and recorded two of the several songs to kl featured in the new* picture. The standard compositions, “The Lord’s Prayer,” and "Going Home,” are first on her agenda of recordings. Other numbers, including several originals, are being prepared for her. In "Almost an Angel” she will have Robert Cummings for her leading man for the third time. Charles Laughton will be co-starred with her.
