The Hon. J. G. Barclay, Minister of Marketing and Agriculture, is visiting Hamilton and is at the Commercial Hotel. This morning the Minister opened the annual conference of the N.Z. Co-operative Pig Marketing Association and the annual meeting of the New Zealand Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs. Mr H. H. Innes, of the Internal Marketing Department, is visiting Hamilton. Mr. A. E. Ludlow, who is leaving the Post and Telegraph Department at Huntly on promotion to line foreman at Matamata, received a presentation from the staff at Huntly at the hands of the Postmaster, Mr F. ‘D. Armour. Messrs C. H. M. Sorenson (Taranaki), W. E. Barber (Foxton), W. J. Law (Te Puke), W. H. Allen (Tauranga) and J. Kenney (Waihou), members of the directorate of the New Zealand Cooperative Pig Marketing Association, are visiting Hamilton for the annual conference of the association. Messrs L. H. Surgenor (Levin), M. R. Blomfield, R. B. Williamson, J. Allison, W. Alexander, E. B. Fraser, W. A. Strong, R. Thompson (Auckland), J. L. Innes, E. Warrington, H. G. Mason, V. E. Lawson (Wellington), A. G. Dear (Palmerston North), R. W. Franke, A. K. Cochrane (Runciman 1, J. R. Langton, J. McDermott, W. S. Ruddell, M. Langton (Dargaville), J. R. Henry (Stratford) and J. E. Schumachu (Midhurst) are at the Commercial Hotel. Messrs T. R. Blockman, W. Maine, E. W. Barrett (Auckland), E. Green (Gisborne), H. J. McPhail (Wellington), H. H. Cheltham, 11. May (Wanganui), J. Henery, J. Christaffel, B. C. Kurth, H. E. Blyde (New Plymouth), G. Broaks (Te Awamutu), T. A. Langton (Northern Wairoa), D. F. Ryburn (Clevedon),' R. W. Legg (Runciman), J. W. Binstall, J. Hudson (Rotorua), S. L. Herrick (Norsewood), W. R. Harris (Invercargill), R. J. Reid (Dunedin). A. C. Morton (Palmerston North), C. H. Grocott (Oamaru), and M. W. Clark (Woodlands), are at the Hamilton Hotel.
