DAIRY OUTPUT HLXUERA COMPANY’S YEAR PRODUCTION OF 1712 TONS An output of butter for the season of 1712 tons, an increase of 201 tons or 13.30 per cent as compared with the previous year, is indicated by the annual report of the Hi’.juera Cooperative Dairy Company, Limited. The accounts show that £32,069 12s 4d is available for distribution. After provision for a dividend of three per cent on paid-up share capital amounting to £690 11s, equal to .045 d a lb butterfat, and provision for taxation of £lB3 11s 2d, equal Jo .014 d a lb butterfat, the directors propose to allocate the balance as follows:—Deferred payment, 2.125 d a lb total season’s butterfat; shareholders’ bonus, .250 d a lb total season's butterfat; to be carried forward, .004 d a lb total season’s butterfat. A total butterfat return, irrespective of grade, of 16.158 d, inclusive of dividend, but exclusive of cream cartage and rebate on merchandise, is indicated by the accounts. The average advance payment for the season was 13.724 d a ib butterfat.
