FORMER M.P. DEAD
MR PETER McSKIMMING (By Telegraph.—rreo Association) DUNEDIN, Friday The death occurred tonight of Mr Peter McSkimming, aged 69, formerly United Party M.P. for Clutha from 1931 to 1935. Mr McSkimming engaged in many commercial enterprises, including farming. He was chairman of directors of the South Otago Freezing Company, the Kaitangata Coal Company, and the South Otago StarrBowkett Society and a director in A. and T. Burt, Limited, the Bruce Woollen Company, the Otago Farmers’ Co-operative Association and the Dominion Fertiliser Company.
