ANNUAL MEETING
HAMILTON CROQUET CLUB The annual meeting of the Hamilton Croquet Club was held recently in the club house, when there was a good attendance of members. Mr H. H. Howden, president, presided. The report and balance sheet were adopted. The club’s financial position is quite good, considering war conditions, and the secretary was congratulated on her comprehensive report of the club’s activities during the past season. Mrs D. M. York was elected a life member in recognition of her long and untiring services for the club’s welfare. The following officers were elected:—President, Mr H. H. Howden; vice-presidents, Mrs G. Brockelsby, Mrs W. M. York; secretary, Mrs A. E. Savage; committee, Mesdames J. Old, A. Higgs, M. Green, Forsyth, McPherson.
