PICNIC RACES
■ATAMATA PROPOSALS It Is proposed to hold a picnic race meeting at Malamata about July 17. T!ie suggested programme consists or six galloping races and two trotting- races. it Is expected that stakes amounting to £l5O will be offered. A public meeting lias been called for next Wednesday. it is Intended that the total proceeds will be devoted to patriotic purposes.
