Banking Department.—Rest £3,200,000, public deposits £10,900,000, bankers’ deposits £121.900,000 other accounts £52,100,000, Government securities £130,300,000, discounts and advances £6,500,000, other securities £19,300,000, notes and coin £46,500,000. Ratio of reserve to liabilities, 25.17 per cent. The Bank of England discount rate remains unchanged at two per cent.
