FOUND GUILTY

RE TRIAL OF SHEPHERD THEFT CHARGE PROVED i The rc-trial of William John Wad- ! dell, aged 34. shepherd, of Tokarimu (Ohura), was concluded before Mr Justice Johnston in the SupremeCourt, Hamilton, yesterday. Accused was found guilty on a charge of stealing £SO from a whare on a sheep station, the money being the property of James O’Neill, who also was an employee at the station. The jury returned their verdict after a I retirement of three hours forty minutes. Waddell was remanded for sentence. The case for the Crown was conducted by Mr H. T. Gillies and Mr A. o. \Y ard represented Waddell.
