OLD GIRLS’ FUNCTION

A successful garden party was held recently by the Hamilton High School Old Girls’ Association in the hostel grounds. The stall-holders were as follows:—Cakes, Mesdames McFarlane, Browne and Tietjens; jumble, Misses Mark and Dingle; produce, St. Paul and Kendrick; sweets, Misses Downes and Robertson; ice cream and sweets, Misses Seddon and Carbon. A delicious afternoon tea was served by Mrs Nelson and Mrs Sullivan.

As a result of the afternoon’s effort the substantial sum of £l4 has been added to the May Allen Scholarship Fund.
