LEAGUE MEETING

ADDRESS BY MRS GATMAN The League of Wives and Mothers of Ex-Service Men and Men of His Majesty’s Fighting Forces recently held its fortnightly meeting in the Hamilton Citizens’ Bandroom, when there was a large attendance of members and friends. Mrs D. I. Gate presided, ana welcomed several new members to the league. A brisk trade was done at the sales table, the money from which will be used for overseas parcels. During the afternoon Mrs G. Gatman addressed the meeting, her subject being “ Work in a Rescue Home,” and a hearty vote of thanks was given her for her interesting talk. The next meeting will be held on May 20, this being the first annual meeting.
