HOSPITAL PATIENTS

WAIKATO INSTITUTIONS Patients in the Waikato Hospital at the end of April numbered 379. There were 14 in the CampbellJohnstone maternity annexe, 134 in the Rotorua Hospital, 22 in the Te Kuiti Hospital, seven in the Matamata Hospital, 13 in the Huntly Hospital and three in the Kawhia Hospital, a total of 568 in hospitals under the Waikato Board’s jurisdiction. ‘Fees written off by the board at today’s meeting totalled £34,441 18s 2d, and reductions in fees £1324 0s 2d, a total of £35,765 18s 4d.
