THESE LABOUR TROUBLES
(To the Editor.) Sir, —One has read Mr J. Moody’s I letter on the subject of labour disputes, and it is difficult to understand the Labour point of view on this and other subjects. Letters from Labour sympathisers ail sing the same tune. It is ever the boss, or the employer, at fault, and the workers are always j in the right. 1 Mr Moody wants the “bosses” to j pull with the worker. The pern- j nent question arises, wnat if the boss | happens to be right? From general j observance, these disturbances arise j mostly from political interference on imaginary grievances. Apart from j the question of definition of terms j which may place new light on the ■ issues, I suggest that Mr Moody in- ; vestigate nearer the centre of the ; Labour movement for most of the troubles.—l am, etc.,
