GUNNER WOUNDED
* SON OF CONSTABLE RUGBY FOOTBALLER Advice has been received by Constable H. M. Kirby, of Hamilton East, that his son, Gunner Ronald Arthur Kirby, of the Second N.Z.E.F., has been wounded. Gunner Kirby, who was employed as a compositor by the Waikato Times, was educated at Hamilton East School and the Hamilton High School. He was a prominent member of the City Football Club’s senior team.
