PERSONAL
The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, will visit Auckland on Saturday. On Monday he will address the annual conference of the Municipal Association of New Zealand. Mr Andrew Weir, of Matangi, has been appointed to judge the Ayrshire and Friesian sections at the Kati Kati show on Saturday. Mr E. G. Fuller, of the Government Audit Office in Auckland, has been appointed as clerk to the Waitemata County Council. Messrs J. Smith (Tauranga), C. F. Barker (Dargaville), R. M. Black (Auckland) and T. C. Somerville (Dunedin) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Messrs W. L. Cressey and K. V. Church, who have been visiting their homes in Hamilton, have returned to Sydney to go into camp with the A.LF. The Rt. Rev. G. H. Jupp, of Dunedin, Moderator of the Presbyterian General Assembly, is making a tour of the North Island Maori Mission fields.
