BUTTERFAT PAYMENT
ADVANCES UNALTERED Consideration was given to the matter of advance payments for the next two 'months by the South Auckland Dairy Association to-day and it was agreed to make no alteration at present in the advance payments, which are Is 2d per lb. butterfat for finest grade cream for buttermaking and Is 3id per lb. butterfat for first grade milk for cheesemaking. It was unanimously agreed to write to t'ne Hon. W. Lee Martin, M.P. for Raglan, expressing regret that indifferent health had caused him to relinquish the portfolio of Agriculture in the present Government and the hope was expressed that Mr Lee Martin's health would improve. Speakers agreed that he had been a conscientious Minister, trying to improve the lot of farmers as a whole. Mr S. A. Ferguson presided, and also present were Messrs C. J. Parlane (N.Z.C.D.C.). M.
