STAND AS INDEPENDENT BAY OF PLENTY SEAT (By TtJegrapli.—Special to Times) ROTORUA, Tuesday Mr C. H. Burnett, of Tauranga, who as the sitting Labour member was defeated by Mr F. W. Doidge by 1138 votes at the last election, has announced that he intends to stand as an Independent candidate for the Bay of Plenty electorate. The sitting member for that district is Lieutenant A. G. Hultquist, at present overseas with the Expeditionary Force.
