WONDERS OF SCIENCE

KEEPING APPLES ON TREES Growth substances such as naphthaleneacetic acid and napthaleneacetimide when applied in the form of a spray are very effective in preventing apples from dropping immediately before harvesting, according to research officers of the United States Horticulture Station of the Bureau of Plant Industry.
