MEN FOR CAMP

sth REINFORCEMENTS HAMILTON AREA DRAFT NAMES OF VOLUNTEERS TRAIN DEPARTURE TIMES Of its quota of 529 for the sth Reinforcements, the No. 4 (Hamilton) military area has 191 volunteers available for mobilisation next month, when the draft will commence training. A few more men may become available within the next few days if released by the Hamilton District Manpower Committee, but this will not materially alter the position. There is a large number of volunteers in the area whose important occupations prevent their being mobilised. It is probable that the area’s quota will be made up from the No. 3 (Expeditionary Force) Ballot. Men who have been drawn in that ballot, the first for overseas service, will be given the opportunity when they are called for medical examination to indicate a preference to encamp with the sth Reinforcements instead of with the 6th Reinforcements. The following men have been chosen as the volunteer personnel of the No. 4 area’s draft for the sth Reinforcements:— Infantry (Rifle), Papakura H. A. C. Abbott, K. H. Ashworth, H. M. P. Baker, K. J.
