Major-General Sir Andrew Russell, Inspector-General of the New Zealand Forces, has been inspecting National Military Reserve and Mounted Rifles units in the North. Messrs A. Wanty (Auckland) and H. Digges Smith (Wellington) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr G. P. Madden, accountant at the Chief Post Office, Invercargill, has been appointed assistant accountant at Dunedin. Mr G. W. Adamson, accountant in the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, has been promoted to the position of deputy chief postmaster, Dunedin. Mr M. J. Reardon, Conciliation Commissioner, was in Hamilton yesterday, when he acted as chairman of a disputes committee in a minor dispute.
