In 1939, earnings totalled £3579, which was .-truck without making previous provision for taxation. The directors propose a dividend of 6d a share on the ordinary shares of 7s 6d, fully paid, equal to 6 2-3 per cent, compared with 3d, or 3 1-3 per cent, in 1939.
