OCTOBER RAINFALL WARM TEMPERATURES During October this year 6.20in. of rain fell in Hamilton, compared with an average of 4.52in. The corresponding figure for last year was 2.62in., one of the lowest October readings ever recorded in Hamilton. The heaviest fall last month was on October 8, when 2.04in. fell.
